Stacey is an ex-patriot Australian and lived in beautiful Trail, B.C. with my husband and two children. She always had a passion for working with people and grew up on a beef cattle farm and so horses have been a big part of her life. For her, horses really complete the connection to spirit and she is constantly amazed at the power, beauty and grace the horses provide our clients.

Beth started riding horses when she was 11 years old and horses have been a passion ever since. She moved to Canada from England in 2013 and realized that something was missing and thus began her search for something meaningful and fulfilling to do alongside horses. This is when she found Little Oasis. Beth began volunteering for the EAL program in 2014.

Dee Dee's work in the veterinary profession provided her countless opportunities to witness the significant value of the Human-Animal Bond. She initially recognized the horse's unique gifts during her years as a volunteer assistant in a therapeutic riding program in Alberta. Since joining the Little Oasis team in 2017, Dee Dee has observed the horses gently but effectively enlightening the EAL participants with their "life lessons". She feels very privileged to be a part of these special and profound moments.

Kat’s claim to fame was being one of Little Oasis Equine’s very first participants, joining the original group back in 2011. She was eager to share her experience and the insights that Equine-Assisted Learning had given her as she matured into adulthood.

Marrying her love of horses with her passion for helping people helped Michelle find her place in the EAL/EAP field. Working with a wide variety of clients demonstrated to her how transformative this work can be. The horses truly are the teachers/therapists.
